How are room rates quoted?
The rates you see on the Paris-Reservations website are per room per night. Please make sure you select the correct room type(s) for the number of persons travelling. It is the responsibility of the person making the booking to ensure that the room type booked will be suitable for the party travelling.
What do the stars mean?
The stars next to the hotel names correspond to the rating of the hotel.
- 5 stars: Super comfort
- 4 stars: Great comfort
- 3 stars: Good comfort
- 2 stars: Standard comfort
- 1 stars: Basic comfort
How do I make the hotel reservation?
On the home page, choose your hotel options in the Check Availability form. This will give you a list of available hotels as per your selection, along with the respective tariff, profile, etc. You can then reserve the hotel that suits you best.
Do not use several reservation systems at the same time. Our server is London' main hotel server, and we'll try to reserve the hotel accommodation for you at the most competitive price. Several reservations, if logged in at the same time, increase the price of hotel accommodation as they reduce the number of free rooms available.

How do I know if my hotel reservation is confirmed?
Once confirmed you will be notified by email which will contain a voucher to be handed to the person at the reception desk of your chosen hotel on arrival.
Why didn't I get confirmation of my booking by E-Mail?
The E-Mail might have been recognized as Spam by your E-Mail provider and sent to your junk box, so please check your junk mail box.
If our E-Mail has been sent to your Junk or Bulk mail folder, you can prevent this from happening again by opening our E-Mail and clicking on the 'not spam' or 'this is not spam' button.
It is the responsibility of the person making the booking to ensure that the E-Mail address has been entered correctly.
Can I make a reservation directly with the hotel?
You can, but the prices displayed on our site are available only through us. If you make the hotel reservation directly, charged 20% to 70% extra.
How frequently are the hotel prices updated Hotels?
The prices are updated daily and are the latest. As we are constantly negotiating with the hotels listed on our site to offer you a definite price advantage.
Why is the price different to when I last checked?
The prices you see on the website are subject to currency fluctuations. There may be slight variations in the rates on a daily basis that will reflect any movement in the currency exchange rates.
Are there any other charges I have to pay, other than what is shown as booking price?
For all of bookings, general hotel taxes are included. For European and USA hotels, these are included in the room rate. (Unlike our competitors like Expedia, Hotels.com, Otel.com etc. who add taxes after you agree with the hotel price!)
There are some exceptions and some hotels, particularly in the USA do charge a resort fee which must be paid directly to the hotel. Please check with the hotel directly for this information. Our company is not responsible for resort fee charges and have no control over their implementation.
Other exceptions can be city taxes, tourist taxes or departure taxes. Other fees can be imposed by some hotels to cover the use of resort amenities for example. These additional taxes are charged by the hotel directly and our company has no control over the amount or their implementation.
Once a booking has been booked and confirmed at the rates you have accepted, there is no refund for the price difference because rates can be updated daily.
What credit cards do you take?
We are happy to accept Visa, Master Card and American Express online. If you pay by any of these cards then charges will appear on your credit card statement under the name Turquoise Travel and Tours.
What are the Verified by Visa and MasterCard Secure Code, and how do they benefit me?
To ensure that credit card transactions on our website are authorized by the cardholder, Paris-Reservations uses the Verified by Visa and MasterCard Secure Code authorization services. These services protect both merchants and consumers from fraud and other unauthorized credit card use. When you make a purchase on our website, you will be connected directly to the Verified by Visa (or Master Card SecureCode) website to authorize your transaction. For more information on these technologies, visit the Verified by Visa or MasterCard SecureCode websites, or contact the bank which issued your card.
What if I am afraid of sending my credit card information on the net?
All credit card payments made through our payment gateway are completely secured. However, in the rare case of you not wanting to send your credit card information on the net, please send us an email reservations@reserve-hotel.com and we will send you a reservation form.
How does your website protect my credit card and personal information?
The security of the credit cardholder and their date is of the up most importance to us.
We have achieved and comply with the PCI DSS standards as set out by Visa and MasterCard.
Paris-Reservations guarantees that all sensitive information - e.g. your name, address, and credit card number - will be protected with the best security practices available when exchanged over the internet. The Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology we use ensures the privacy and security of all transactions. SSL technology encrypts data before it is transmitted, so that only the authorized recipient can have access to it. Paris-Reservations is a trusted secure site. We use digital certificates with all transactions.
Can I book a hotel for someone even though I will not be travelling?
Yes. In this case we will need the cardholders authorisation by way of a signed authorisation form as well as a copy of a recent credit card statement OR a copy of a recent credit card statement for the card being used.
I don't have a credit card; can I pay cash to the hotel upon my arrival?
No, we do not accept payment by cash on arrival at the hotel. All bookings through our company require pre-payment by credit card only.
Can I make my hotel booking over the phone?
Reserve-Hotel.com website was designed to give customers an easy way to shop and reserve hotel rooms online.
When will my credit card be charged for the booking?
You will be charged in a deposit of 15% (for most of our hotels) or full at the time you make the booking (Last Minute Offers, Extra Special discounts or within 15 days of arrival). Your pre paid accommodation voucher will be sent straightaway.
Is the reservation guaranteed?
Yes. After we send you 'Reservation Completed' e-mail, rest assured, the room availability is guaranteed.
What currency will I be charged in?
Rate displays on our website can be viewed in a number of different currencies. You will see the actual currency and amount that will be charged on the Booking page. The default currency for charges will be €, $, £ depending on the currency that you have viewed and the office that the charge has been processed through.
Paris-Reservations can not be held responsible for currency exchange rates or bank surcharges whatever the circumstances.
The hotel I am interested in booking is 'On Request'. What does this mean?
There are no rooms available to us with instant confirmation and we have to request additional rooms. It is important to note that if you choose an ‘On Request’ hotel that confirmation cannot be guaranteed.
Depending on the destination, it may take up to 72 hours excluding weekends to get a response and while we will undertake to process your request within 72 hours, occasionally we are unable to do this. The reason for a delay can be due to a public holiday or time zone differences.
Should your request for accommodation be urgent you are advised to book a hotel with Instant Confirmation.
In order to proceed with your 'On Request' booking, we need you to submit the booking form with your credit card details. Please be advised that your credit card will be captured with the amount for the booking.
Once a confirmation has been received for your requested hotel, we will proceed with charging your card as agreed in the original request. If we are unable to confirm the initial requested hotel accommodation, an alternative may be provided and an email notification will be sent to you along with the details. The reservation will be held for 48 hours for you to signify acceptance. When we are in receipt of your acceptance, we shall charge your card as agreed in the faxed booking form.
If the hotel cannot be confirmed, we will offer you an alternative hotel or should you decide not to accept the alternative hotel, the amount captured will be released.
In the unlikely event of you not receiving a reply from us within 48 hours, please re-submit your request.
What is your cancellation policy?
The cancellation policy that we have in place for every hotel is different and is clearly shown on the hotel information page, on the booking form and also on your pre paid accommodation voucher.
During special event periods the hotel may pass on a different cancellation policy of which you will be informed as soon as we are notified.

I called the hotel and they informed me that they could not find my reservation. What should I do?
Please provide the hotel with the confirmation details that can be found on your pre paid accommodation voucher.
If you call the hotel more than 7 days prior to your check-in date, they may not be able to find the reservation using your name. This is because names of the guests are not submitted to the hotel until 5-7 days prior to check-in date. Rooms are booked through allocated allotment and not on a name basis. In the unlikely event that the hotel is still unable to locate your booking, please contact us straightaway. If you do not contact us and you do not give us the chance to assist or you decide not to go to the hotel, please note that no refund will be applicable as per our cancellation policy.
Can I change my hotel reservation?
In the event of you wanting to change either the dates, number of rooms, hotel, etc. after the reservation is made, you will have to pay alteration fees. Kindly get in touch with us in case you need to change your reservation or checkout our Terms & Conditions or call us.
What is the hotel's check in and check out time?
Check in and check out times do vary from hotel to hotel. Generally check in is defined as 14:00.
For more specific information, we suggest you contact the hotel directly.
What happens if the hotel is unable to locate my booking when I arrive?
You should speak to the Reservation Manager at the hotel and give him your pre paid accommodation voucher so that the situation can be resolved straightaway. Some hotels may have the booking under the 2nd traveller name rather than the lead name of the guest. If the hotel is still unable to find your booking, you must contact us straightaway at one of the numbers given on your pre paid accommodation voucher.
How can I request an early check in or a late check out?
For early check in it is advisable to book from the previous night to ensure the room is available when you arrive.
If you want to keep your room until after the check out time you need to arrange a late check out directly with the hotel reception. You will be required to pay a Day rate to keep your room or to make use of another guest room. The day rate is payable directly to the hotel.

The room type will be standard and no different to any other rooms of this type. You can expect the same service and guest room facilities as other guests but at a lower price
What does "Top Secret" hotel mean?
We have taken all the detective work out of booking an International hotel chain hotel at an incredibly low price for you.
If you see a Top Secret hotel then you can be assured that the hotel you are booking is an International hotel chain. The prices are so competitive that our hotel partners prefer that their names are hidden until you get your pre paid accommodation voucher.
When will I find out the name of the hotel I will stay?
As soon as payment has been made which is generally online at the time of booking, you will have immediate access to you pre paid accommodation voucher. The voucher contains the hotel name, address and telephone number.
